Hector Rivera, age 57, 1215 1/2 Bateman St, Perry, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Theft 5th Degree.

Brandon Snyder, Minburn, was driving on N Ave in Minburn when he was struck by a semi driven by Terry Wood, Adel.  Mr. Wood did not yield when he entered N Ave and struck Mr. Snyder’s vehicle.   Damage to Mr. Snyder’s vehicle was estimated at $10000 and was towed from the scene.  No injuries were reported.  Damage to Mr. Wood’s vehicle was estimated at $4000 and was able to be towed from the scene.  Mr. Wood was issued a citation for Failure To Yield Upon Left Turn.

Shelbie Ingram, age 33, 315 2nd Ave, Van Meter, was arrested for Assault Causing Bodily Injury.

Martin Looney, Urbandale, was exiting I80 at exit 113 when he swerved to avoid a deer.  The swerving action caused his truck, pulling a trailer, to enter the ditch.  The trailer overturned and was totaled.  No injuries were reported.  Damage to the truck was estimated at $5000.  Damage to the trailer was estimated at $15000.  Mr. Looney was cited for No Valid Driver’s License.
