The next Lyceum event in Jefferson will highlight cutting edge technology.
The discussion will be on the topic of the Metaverse and developing virtual and augmented reality. The questions that will be explored include the future of virtual technology, how it could impact our relationships with nature and each other, and what the advantages and disadvantages are. There are two keynote speakers to help lead this discussion with Tim Buenz, the former Greene County School District Director of Technology, and an account representative for Bytespeed, Tanner Duncan.
The event will take place on Wednesday from 7-9pm at PickAway Americana and Meeting House in Jefferson. Tickets are $10 per person and you can click here to register.
The Lyceum Movement is a place that allows adults to think, learn and talk with their neighbors, as deep questions are explored of what it means to be human.
