Thursday night the Wildcats girls soccer team traveled to Neola and took on the Tri-Center Trojans. It was a long back and forth, with no scoring by either team until West Central Valley Senior Isabella Munoz kicked in a goal at the 64 minute mark.
The boys soccer team traveled to Neola Friday night and also faced off against the Tri-Center Trojans. It was a hard fought game, with neither team scoring a standard goal. Both teams did eventually score, but all points came from penalty kicks. For the Wildcats, juniors Nate Gerling and Jacob Hill, along with freshman Adrian Wahlert all scored, while Tri-Center scored off only one kick, and West Central Valley came away from the game with their 6th win of the season.
