This morning, Greene County and surrounding residents are invited to voice questions and concerns to some state-elected officials.

The “Meet Your Legislators” forum is happening at 10am at the Welcome Center in Jefferson. The event will feature District 24 Iowa Senator Jesse Green (R-Boone) and House District 47 Representative Carter Nordman (R-Panora). Both lawmakers will give updates from their respective chambers and then address questions from the audience.

Attendees are asked to write down their questions and submit them to the moderator to be asked during the forum. Thomas Jefferson Gardens of Greene County is hosting the forum and it is free and open to the public.
