The Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension only has two windowsill herb garden classes left this month.
The Extension will be at the Bayard Public Library at 5:30pm on Wednesday, and the Panora Public Library at 2pm on April 25th. These classes teach participants how to plant gardens of herbs they can use, and how to raise and harvest the herbs they choose to grow. Registration for these events are required, and can be done by contacting the two libraries for their respective classes. The cost to participate is $5 for each garden, with the fees to offset direct expenses and help support the Human Sciences County Extension Program.
