A reminder that this evening is the Greene County High School Junior/Senior Prom.

The event will start with the grand march at 6pm at the high school auditorium, with the doors opening for the public at 5:30pm. Then at 7pm will be the banquet meal with a fajita bar at Wild Rose Casino and Resort Greene Room Events Center. The dance takes place from 8-11pm with after prom from midnight to 2:30am at the middle school gym. 

Junior Class President Gavin Vander Linden talks about how planning for prom went this year.

“It’s been a lot of fun planning for it. Even though I am the ‘leader,’ it’s not really a whole lot of power I’ve got here, it’s just a committee of people who’s helping out and it’s just been a blast.”  

The theme is “A Trip to the Tropics” and the decorations are tropical and beach-themed.
