Greene County had its girls in Le Grand at East Marshall while the boys were in Des Moines at Saydel.

The Rams finished in a fifth place tie among 16 teams at Saydel with several season best performances. Greene County did not win any events, but Jesse Miller was second in the discus throw at 148′ 7″ and the 4 x 100 meter relay was second in 44.75 seconds with Trey Schilling, Richard Daugherty, Camden Strennen, and Miller. Third place finishes for Greene County came from the 4 x 200 meter relay in 1:41.08 with Schilling Eli Mohr, Nick Madsen, and Ayden Bardole, and Daugherty in the long jump at 20′ 6-3/4″.

Greene County’s girls were sixth among 14 teams in Le Grand. Olivia Shannon won the 200 meter dash in 27.27 seconds and Katrina Heupel was second in the same race at :28.34. Natalie Heupel was second in the 400 meter dash in 1:01.62, and the Rams had a pair of third place finishes. Emma Hoyle was third in the discus throw at 101′ 1″, and Shannon was third in the long jump at 15′ 11″.

Paton-Churdan girls were at the ACGC meet in Guthrie Center and the top finish was Becca Anderson’s third place effort in the 400 meter dash.
