Xavier Martinez, Adel, was driving on Hwy 169 at 315th Ct. when he hit a deer.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $3000.  The vehicle was driven from the scene.

Paul Baker, Bennett, was attempting to exit the fuel portion of the Kwik Star in De Soto, when he cut the turn too short with an oversized load and caught the front of a semi that was sitting stationary.  The trailer did approximately $2500 damage to a semi owned by Hussein Alihaji of St. Paul, Mn.  No injuries were reported.  There was no damage reported to Mr. Baker’s vehicle.

Mekhi Todd-Caston, age 22, 1333 Shamrock Dr, Waterloo, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Theft 1st Degree.
