The ADM boys varsity track team traveled to Pella on Tuesday April 11th for a varsity track meet. ADM boys had some good top 10 finishes in the running events on the day. Here are those results. Junior Zach Lohmann placed 2nd and Freshman Jamaul Richardson-Williams placed 4th and Junior Carter Padget placed 8th in the 100 meter dash. Junior Aiden Flora placed 1st while Junior Zach Lohmann placed placed 2nd and Senior Jacob Kitzinger placed 5th in the 200 meter dash. Sophomore Brayden Rynearson placed 4th and Sophomore Cameron Forgy placed 8th in the 400 meter dash. Junior Hunter Landfair placed 3rd and Freshman Hudson Schull placed 9th in the 800 meter run. Sophomore Torin Timmerman placed 2nd while Sophomore Shay Holdmeyer placed 3rd in the 1,600 meter run. Sophomore Torin Timmerman placed 4th, Sophomore Keegan Holdmeyer placed 5th and Sophomore Isaac Chapman placed 7th in the 3,200 meters. Junior Luke Krantz placed 6th, Junior Cameron Nish placed 7th and Senior Jacob Kitzinger placed 8th in the 110 meter hurdles. Sophomore Keaton Kier placed 2nd, Sophomore Joseph Kitzinger placed 4th and Junior Carter Padget placed 9th in the 400 meter hurdles.

The ADM boys did very well in the relay and medley running events on the day. Here are those results: ADM Boys had two teams place 2nd and 6th in the 4×100 meter relay. ADM boys had two teams place 4th and 7th in the 4×200 meter relay. ADM boys had one team place 2nd in the 4×400 meter relay. ADM boys had two teams,  one team was tied for 3rd with Pella Christian and the other placed 8th in the 800 sprint relay. ADM had one boys team finish 3rd in the distance medley. ADM boys had one team with a 4th place finish in the 4×100 meter shuttle hurdle.

The ADM Boys had some nice success with all of the fielding events on the day: Sophomore Kyler Chapman tied for 2nd place with teammate Sophomore Will Grasty while Sophomore Keaton Kier placed 6th in the high jump. Sophomore Grant Engleman placed 7th and Sophomore Joseph Kitzinger placed 8th in the long jump. Senior Vince Benetti placed 4th while Junior Drew Hickey placed 5th and Senior Ben Gard placed 6th in the shot put. Senior Ben Gard placed 4th while Junior Drew Hickey placed 5th and Senior Vince Benetti placed 7th in the discus throw.

ADM boys did finish as a team with being runner-up on the day finishing in second place with 167.5 points as team right behind Pella Christian who finished in 1st place with 207 points on the day. The next ADM Boys varsity meet will be Monday April 17th for a varsity coed invitational in Jefferson. That meet will start at 4:30 PM.
