Next week the Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will be holding a program on chickens.
Getting Started with Backyard Chickens is a one hour virtual workshop that the Extension Office will be holding starting at 6pm April 20th. This workshop will cover how to order, care for and protect your backyard flock, and cover topics such as brooding chicks, appropriate feeders and waterers, coop construction and showmanship concepts for those in 4-H and attending the county fair.
