The Enhance Iowa Board awarded $17.7 million in Community Attraction and Tourism (CAT) grants to 20 projects which mentions Dallas Center. 

The Board recently announced that the City of Dallas Center will receive $250,000 towards the construction of their new aquatic facility. 

The Enhance Iowa Program provides financial incentives to communities for the construction of recreational, cultural, educational or entertainment facilities that enhance the quality of life in Iowa. To date, 123 CAT grants have been awarded by the board, totaling over $40 million.
