The Jefferson City Council will meet tomorrow night.

The meeting will begin with a public hearing on the plans and specifications, form of contract and cost estimate for a 100-foot by 100-foot hangar at the municipal airport, and then the Council will consider a resolution for the same measure following the hearing. Then the Council will consider a grant contract with the Iowa Finance Authority for $500,000 for the wastewater treatment plant. They will also consider the insurance policy with Unger Insurance.

Additionally, the Council will handle several items related to Community Development Block Grants. They will consider approving an administrative contract with Region XII Council of Governments for a project at 100 East State Street, along with a CDBG code of conduct policy, a prohibition on use of excessive force, and a residential anti-displacement and relocation assistance plan policy. Finally, the Council will consider extending a contract with Iowa Economic Development Authority for an upper story housing project at 123 North Chestnut Street.
