Grand Junction Pool

A community in Greene County was recently announced as a recipient of a statewide grant.

The city of Grand Junction was awarded a Paint Iowa Beautiful grant of free paint to give a fresh coat of paint of the interior and exterior of the municipal swimming pool, along with the office and shower house of the pool area. Grand Junction City Council member Paula Hoskinson applied for the grant on behalf of the city and the local parks and recreation committee.

Keep Iowa Beautiful has partnered with Diamond Vogel Paint for 20 years and the two have given away over 13,270 gallons of paint to over 1,438 communities for worthy projects in Iowa.
