This weekend is Easter weekend, and the residents of Guthrie County are getting ready to celebrate.
The Panora Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring their annual hunt, which will take place at the Guthrie County Historical Village starting at 10am, and will be for those 11-years old and younger. The Easter Egg Hunt will take place rain or shine on April 8th. Stuart will have their annual Easter Egg Hunt starting at 1pm on Saturday in Lawbaugh Park, with hunts for three different age groups (four and under, five to seven, and eight to ten). Stuart’s Easter Egg Hunt is sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and Rose Acre Farms.
Guthrie Center’s Easter Egg Hunt will also be on Saturday, with four different age groups (infant to two years old, preschool, kindergarten and first grade, and second through sixth grade), with the hunt to begin at 11am at the Guthrie Center Elementary School playground. The Guthrie Center Rose Acre Farms location is sponsoring the event.
The Adair Chamber of Commerce, Summit Superstars and Grant Sky Eagles 4-H Club are sponsoring Adair’s Easter Egg Hunt. Children will be able to look for eggs in Adair City Park Starting at 10:30am on Saturday. Menlo’s Easter Egg Hunt will be at 9am on Saturday as well, and will be at Menlo City Park and the Menlo Community Building.
