
The Greene County School District has announced its new middle school principal.
Cara Osborne has 15 years of educational experience, with her most recent position as instructional coach with the Clarksville-Montgomery School District in Clarksville, Tennessee. The Boone, Iowa native has her bachelors degree in elementary education from the University of Northern Iowa, her masters of education in educational leadership from Buena Vista University and educational specialist from the University of the Cumberlands in School Administration.
Osborne and her family are moving back to Iowa this June. The Greene County School Board will consider hiring her officially at the April board meeting. If hired, she will start the 2023-24 school year. The Board accepted current middle school principal Shawn Zanders’s retirement resignation at their March meeting.
