Shortly after 10pm March 31st, Stuart Police were notified of an individual shooting a vehicle, and threatening a female over the phone. The female was at that time speaking with dispatch, telling the dispatcher that 35-year old Lee Goll was the one shooting the gun and making threats against her and their children, who were inside the residence.

As the officer approached the residence, he noticed a red Chevy S10 leaving, and determined Goll was the driver. After performing a traffic stop and securing the driver in his patrol car, the officer then searched the truck, and found an ID confirming Goll was the driver. The officer also found a .22 caliber rifle in the truck, and an open container of alcohol on the passenger seat.

After running the ID, it was discovered that Goll’s license was currently suspended. The officer then traveled to the residence of the victim, and observed bullet holes in a silver GMC Yukon, counting six holes, and then finding six .22 caliber casings in the driveway. It was determined that one of the bullets may have crossed Stuart Road, endangering the public.

The victim showed the officer texts from Goll, allegedly stating, “Your kids are in danger,” “If I see a sheriff, we all die,” and “I will kill everyone if you don’t answer.” Goll was charged with criminal mischief in the 2nd degree and going armed with intent, both class D felonies, along with driving while suspended, having an open container in the vehicle, reckless use of a gun causing property damage, which is an aggravated misdemeanor, and six counts of harassment in the 1st degree, which is also an aggravated misdemeanor.
