A Stuart man was arrested for an alleged eluding a peace officer in Dallas County.
According to court documents, on March 31rst at 8pm, a Chevrolet HHR was traveling at a high rate of speed near the 28000 block of 360th Street, driven by 47-year-old Todd Guisinger when he was pulled over by law enforcement. Court documents show, while Guisinger was being evaluated for driving under the influence, Guisinger got back in his vehicle and drove off for approximately 12 minutes before he ran out of gas near Woodland Avenue in Madison County.
Guisinger was then taken into custody and charged with eluding-injury, OWI, drugs, or participation in a felony; operating a vehicle under the influence, operating without interlock, interference with official acts. He was also cited for failure to display registration plate, fraudulent use of registration, speeding, failure to provide proof of financial liability and driving while license suspended.
