The high school Spring sports campaigns for Greene County athletes began with the indoor track & field seasons in early March. Last week, the teams started the outdoor campaigns, and Greene County soccer also began the girls and boys seasons. This week, Ram golfers, both boys and girls, are scheduled to begin their schedules. The upcoming week will be the busiest so far this Spring if the weather cooperates.

Girls’ soccer vs. Des Moines Hoover is scheduled for varsity only action Monday at 6 p.m. in Grand Junction at Karber Field. Girls’ golf vs. Carroll High is scheduled for 4 p.m. Monday at The Hill near Grand Junction and boys’ golf vs. Carroll is at the Breda Golf Course at 4 p.m.

All Greene County varsity sports have either two or three competitions scheduled this week. As always, outdoor activities are weather permitting.
