Memorial services for Sarah Byrns, 98, of Jefferson, will be held at 12 noon Saturday April 1, 2023 at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home, Jefferson, IA.  Interment will be in Richland Twp. Cemetery.

 The family will greet friends beginning at 11:00am Saturday at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home, one hour prior to the memorial service.

 SSurvivors include daughter, Marjory (Kent) Festvog; son, Robert Thomas Byrns, Jr; sons-in-law: Robert Whitsitt, Sr and Jeffrey Warner; and her bonus children: Rodney and Deena Frederick and Alan and Ann Frederick; grandchildren: Karen (Keith) Akerberg; Robert (Jane) Whitsitt, Jr; Randal Whitsitt; Heather (Shawn) Ferguson; Shanna Whitsitt; Katie (Jake) Baldwin; and Michele (Josh) Rowe; and bonus-grand-daughter, Amara Cole; great grandchildren: John, Emily, Randal II, Dylan, Chase (Luanna), Nolan (Kristina), Oluf, Jonas and Jaida; great-great-grandchildren: Alexander, Hunter, Owen and Logan.
