The Adel-DeSoto Minburn School Board has already begun approving projects they look to complete in the summer before the next school year.
Superintendent Greg Dufoe says that they approved work to be done at the Adel Elementary Library with new furniture, shelving new carpet and more. He says that they will address the high school dock area along with the high school parking lot and adding concrete for Tiger Drive. He also mentions a few other projects for the new elementary school.
“Then we also had some security improvements. Installation of a security system at Meadowview. Following the building of that new building. And then also an approval for a cellular repeater at Meadowview in order for us to get adequate cell service really connected to being able to communicate with emergency responders, that sort of thing. So those were the biggest slurry of improvements that we approved.
