The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in session Thursday.

The Supervisors approved two pay change notices for employees in the County Public Health Department, then they heard an update from Health Services Director Jotham Arber. Arber talked about the hiring of the two aides, and that they were replacements for positions already in the budget, so that there were no new expenditures for salaries. He also discussed the HOPES program, saying that the number of clients has dropped, but the number of visits they are getting from clients is higher than before.

The Board then discussed several items pertaining to the Law Enforcement Center Project. They approved a change order for lighting controls in the booking area, and tabled a decision on lighting dimming in the detention area, before approving a release of contract for Brockway Mechanical and Roofing, and two pay estimates to the Samuels Group.
