A few Dallas County high school’s music departments will be sending several students to compete at this weekend’s Iowa High School Music Association State Solo/Small Ensemble contest.musix

For Perry, they will have 15 entries performing on Saturday at Greene County High School, including solos, duets, bass clef ensemble, treble clef ensemble. For Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School, they will have nine entries also going to Greene County on Saturday. The Tigers will have four soloists and five ensembles with a treble duet, treble ensemble and a mixed double quartet. 

If performers from both schools get nominated for the best of center showcase; it’ll be held in Ames at the Iowa State University in May.
