The Adel Public Library will hold an event for children and their stuffed animals.
Patron Services Manager Amy Puck says that they will have a stuffed animal sleepover from 9am to 2pm on Friday at the library. Puck says that children will be encouraged to bring their favorite stuffed animal to the library, make it a nametag and leave it for a sleepover. Puck explains that they will pick it up on Saturday at 10am for a special pajama themed storytime in the community room. She also talks about the last time they had this event.
“We Had pictures of all of the various activities that the stuffed animals did over the evening, posted it on a big board, and then each of the stuffed animals got a certificate for making it through the entire night. It was a huge success and we decided to go ahead and do it again.”
This stuffed animal sleepover and storytime is free and open to kids.
