The Iowa High School Athletic Association on Monday March 20th released its high school football assignments for the 2023 and 2024 season. ADM Tiger football team will be Class 4A in District 5 with teams of Ballard, Boone, Des Moines North, Indianola and North Polk. The Districts of Class 4A, 3A, 2A, 1A, A and 8-player and groups Class 5A are in place for a two-year cycle. The adjustment works by reducing 40 percent of a schools free or reduced lunch count from their annual enrollment to determine their final classification number. This means each team, depending on group or district, will play eight or nine regular season games. The full schedules for the upcoming season will be released in April, and the week 1 games are scheduled for the week of Friday August 25th.
