Recently the Iowa High School Athletic Association announced preliminary classifications for the 2023 and 2024 football seasons. The Wildcats were placed in Class 1A, and recently found out their district placement. West Central Valley was placed in district 7, along with Grand View Christian, Nodaway Valley, Ogden, South Hamilton and Woodward-Granger.
