Recently the Iowa High School Athletic Association announced preliminary classifications for football for the 2023 and 2024 seasons. The Chargers were placed in Class A, and recently found out their district placement. They were placed in district 7, along with Earlham, IKM-Manning, Panorama, Riverside, South Central Calhoun and Southwest Valley.
