Graduating high school seniors in Greene County are reminded of another scholarship opportunity.

The Greene County Soil and Water Conservation Club and the Greene County Soil and Water Conservation District are offering one $1,000 and one $500 scholarships. Interested seniors must be planning to be in an agriculture, conservation or natural resource program or college degree following high school graduation in order to be considered for the scholarships. Last year’s winners were Logan Higgins and Max Riley.

Contact the Greene County or Paton-Churdan high school counselors or Amber Kenan at the Greene County Soil and Water Conservation District office on Highway 4 in Jefferson for an application. The deadline to submit an application is this Friday at 4pm
