The home track & field meet schedule for Greene County is set to begin next Monday, March 27 and Activities Director Dave Wright is seeking volunteers to help in a variety of capacities. “It takes a lot of people to run track meets and we host two varsity meets, plus one on the middle school level. All three are coed meets, so whether you are a parent of an athlete, a former athlete, or someone who just wants to help out, we have a place for you. You do not need to have track and field experience to volunteer. Some volunteers will record results from a field event, while others will help get hurdles on and off the track, and still others will aid in organizing runners or helping at the finish line.”

In addition to the Early Bird Meet on March 27, the Ram Relays are on April 17, and the middle school meet is on April 14. Wright suggests calling the Activities Office at 515-386-2188 to volunteer at one or more of the home meets.
