Not only did Dallas Center-Grimes girls basketball take home the first state championship in school history (2023) but they broke many team and individual records in the process.
The Mustangs won 23 games which is the most in school history along with as a team connecting on the most field goals with 527 and shared the basketball at an incredible rate with a total 346 assist.
For individual career records, Emma Miner finished her high school career with 1,143 points which is fourth in school history. Miner has now made the second most career field goals with 431 with the third best percentage (50.3) in school history. She is not only a good field goal shooter but has etched her name as the fifth best three point shooter with 125 career made three pointers. Vanessa Bickford ends her high school career as the third best passer with a total of 232 assist.
For Single season records, Vanessa Bickford is now the single season leader for assist in a season with 110. Against Norwalk, Dallas Center-Grimes had 23 assist which was a single game record.
