The Jefferson Public Library has a free movie day coming up for students to enjoy to end spring break.
The No School Movie Day will feature “Puss in Boots, The Last Wish” on Monday, March 20th from 1-3pm. Kids in second through fifth grade must register by Saturday to watch the free movie. Youth Services Librarian Bailey Mount tells Raccoon Valley Radio while No School Movie Days have been a staple for over a year at the library, well-received children’s media has been sparse. However, Mount points out once the final movie with the “Puss in Boots” series became available for public viewing, she jumped on the opportunity.
Mount says children can also receive free popcorn and pop or water for the movie. And as always, the library’s policy is any kid under the age of seven must be accompanied by an adult.
