The Perry School District will host a meeting to discuss getting more competitive in a wide range of sports.
Superintendent Clark Wicks says that at 3:30pm on March 23rd at the Perry Middle School Cafeteria they will invite the public to join them in a discussion with a strength and conditioning program called “ETS Performance.” He says that this is a well-known program that looks to boost the athletic performance of student athletes.
“They are pretty well known in Minnesota. But now they’re stretching their whole footprint of strength and conditioning and agility to Iowa. So we’re just going to take a look at them. We’re going to want to listen to them. We want to also talk to some of the people that have utilized ETS in the Minneapolis area and what it’s done for their student athletes.”
Wicks says he encourages parents, coaches and athletes to join them in this conversation with ETS Performance. According to ETS, they have trained over 50,000 athletes and 200 professional athletes along with having partnerships with Minnesota Vikings Quarterback Kirk Cousins and Wide Receiver Adam Thielan.
