Several Greene County High School students did well this past weekend in speech, and one in particular achieved the highest honor.

Senior Bella Linberg not only received straight Division I-ratings from this past Saturday’s Iowa High School Speech Association State Individual contest, she was also nominated to perform at the All-State Festival. There were two other students that also earned straight Division I-ratings from the judges and those included Ava Schilling for acting and Bill Wright in expository address. The other students that had an overall Division I-rating were Gavin Vander Linden for musical theater, Allee Hinote in poetry and Esther Van Horn in prose.

The All-State Festival is Saturday, March 27th at the University of Northern Iowa.
