Dallas Center-Grimes boys soccer will be looking to back on the pitch again as they start a new season in the month of March.
It is soccer season in Iowa and the Mustangs had an impressive 2021-22 season winning 14 games, winning the Little Hawkeye Conference along with making it to the sub state championship game but falling short. The Mustangs will have to replace eight total seniors from last year and the production from Kendall Bickford and Jacob Ewers, who were the top scorers. Junior Tate McDermott and junior Ben Jackson will have to make up that lost ground.
The 2022-23 schedule starts out favorable for the Mustangs as their first five games are at DCG Stadium. They will open up the season on March 23rd against Des Moines Roosevelt, who went 9-8 last year and is bringing back their best scorer.
The full schedule will be provided here.
