Friday, March 10th
1:11am: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 300 block of Irving Street, Scranton.
11:42am: A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint on 220th Street near W Avenue.
3:10pm: Michael Moeller 40 of Wellsburg was booked into the jail for theft 2nd degree.
4:23pm: A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint on 220th Street near S Avenue.
7:41pm: Shelby Mcbride 21 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for arrest warrants out of Cerro Gordo County. The arrest warrants were for possession of a controlled substance 3rd offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Saturday, March 11th
7:07am: A deputy assisted the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office with attempting to located a runaway near Scranton.
10:16am: A deputy contacted the Union Pacific Railroad about an unsecured load on a train car that was falling off.
1:31pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a search warrant in the 100 block of East Washington Street, Jefferson.
3:12pm: A deputy, Greene County Ambulance, and Grand Junction Rescue investigated a single vehicle accident on U Avenue near 310 th Street. Shelby Messner 29 of Perry was southbound on U Avenue in a 2008 Dodge Ram. Messner lost control of the truck and entered the East ditch rolling once. Messner was extricated from the truck and transported to the Dallas County Hospital with minor injuries. Messner had a 4-year-old child in the truck also and they were not injured. The truck was a total loss.
7:41pm: A deputy assisted a jailer with an unruly inmate at the Jail.
Sunday, March 12th
12:26am: A deputy investigated a driving complaint in and around Grand Junction.
1:55pm: A deputy assisted a motorist on 220th Street and R Avenue. Saribel Ornnelas 19 of Deloit lost control of her 2013 Dodge Dart and went into the south ditch. There was no damage to the vehicle.
4:05pm: A deputy removed a deer from the roadway in the 200 block of 130th Street.
10:27pm: Steven Wetzel 53 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for driving while barred, operating an unregistered vehicle, and failure to provide proof of financial liability.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
