Jefferson Kiwanis is hosting a fundraiser this Sunday.

At the Greene County High School from 11am-1pm will be their bi-annual Staley’s Chicken Dinner Fundraiser. The meal includes broasted chicken, along with mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, salads, a roll, dessert and a beverage for $12 for adults and $8 for kids 12 and under. Jefferson Matters: A Main Street and Chamber Community Executive Director Matt Wetrich says the Jefferson Kiwanis Club does a lot to support the community.

“Kiwanis is all about the youth of Greene County. They contribute to BOOST (Bringing Optimism and Opportunity to Students and Parents), they do a lot of things as far as donating their time, but they also contribute funds that are youth-oriented within the community. You’ll see out there doing a lot of different projects. It’s a great organization to support.”

Carry-outs are also available. Tickets can be purchased now from any Jefferson Kiwanian or at the Greene County Community Center. Tickets will also be available at the door the day of the event.
