The Greene County Youth Athletic Association is reminding parents of youngsters of some approaching deadlines for its summer programs.

Little League and Softball seasons will take place from April 1st through June 16th. Both leagues have the same programs, including Minor, which is 1st and 2nd graders involved in coach pitch; American with 3rd and 4th graders where kids are introduced to pitching and it is more fast-paced than coach pitch; and Major that has 5th and 6th graders that exclusively pitch and hit the ball.

Fees for both Little League and Softball is $55 per youth, with a $10 discount for each additional player per division. There is also a $15 fee if a parent chooses not to volunteer. The deadline to register is March 16th, with a $10 late fee for registrations taken after March 10th. Anyone wanting to participate must have a profile on their website to sign up.
