Now that the Chargers are between seasons, we’ll take a look at statistics for this last season. We’ll follow one boy and one girl from the basketball teams, and talk about their stats for the season.

For the boys, senior Ben Marsh played and started in 21 games, going 85 of 225 from the field for a field goal percentage of 37.8%, draining 14 of 50 shots from behind the arc for a 3 point percentage of 28% and an effective field goal percentage of 40.9%, and went 51 of 78 on free throws, for a free throw percentage of 65.4%. Marsh collected 15 offensive boards and 53 defensive for a total of 68 rebounds, 68 assists, 27 steals, 62 turnovers, an assist to turnover ratio of 1.1, 43 fouls and 235 points.

For the girls, junior Emerson Van Meter played in 22 games, going 17 of 58 from the field for a field goal percentage of 29.3%, hitting 15 of 38 three pointers for a three point percentage of 39.5% and an effective field goal percentage of 42.2%, and made 7 of 16 free throws for a free throw percentage of 43.8%. She also collected 6 offensive rebounds and 22 defensive for a total of 28, 5 assists, 22 steals, 2 blocks, 19 turnovers, an assist to turnover ratio of .26, 21 fouls and 56 points.
