A reminder that today is the district competition for Greene County FFA.
The local FFA chapter will have students in ag broadcasting, as sales, chapter program, public speaking and oxy welding at the district contest. Sophomore Kayla Frederick is doing a chapter program and she talks about her initial reaction to making it to districts.
“I was pretty excited to see that we moved on and that we get to participate again, and get further with our skills.”
Senior Kaitlin Fields is competing in ag broadcasting and she describes what she’s looking forward to the most at districts.
“I’m a little nervous just because the competition gets a little more intense. But I think I’ll do good and I’m just excited to present my script.”
Greene County FFA’ers are at IKM-Manning High School.
