
The Chargers girls basketball team had a great season, making it to the second round of the playoffs, and they had the stats to prove it. We look at the top three statistical leaders for points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks.
Leading in points was senior Sophie Dorsey tallying 214, with sophomore Shay Lemke recording 202 of her own, and junior Kelsey Carlson putting up 143. Junior Reagan Carney led in rebounds, with a total of 132, Lemke pulled down 77, and freshman Camdyn Richter recorded 69. Lemke was the assists leader, collecting 68, while Dorsey tallied 37 and fellow senior Taylor Carlson recorded 26. Lemke also led in steals, taking the ball away 69 times, while Kelsey Carlson stole the ball 58 times, and Dorsey came away with it 54 times. Junior Macy Schreck led the team in blocks, stuffing 16 shots, with Taylor Carlson knocking down 10, and Dorsey and Carney swatting 4 apiece.
