The search continues at Perry High School for the next varsity football coach.  Bryce Pierce resigned following the 2022 season after the Bluejays forfeited the final 3 games due to a rash of injuries.  The school has posted the job on Iowa’s main website and have went through one round of interviews last week.  A second round of interviews is expected within the next week.

Perry is also waiting for the new district assignments which are scheduled to be released by the Iowa High School Athletic Association this month.  It is anticipated that Perry will drop a class to 3A with the new free and reduced lunch rate factored into the equation.
