Dallas Center-Grimes closes up their boys basketball season on Tuesday.

The Mustangs lost to the Waukee Warriors in the sub state championship game by a score of 49 to 38.

In the first quarter, the Warriors jumped in front 14 to 6. Hudson Ehlert would climb his team back into the ball game with eight straight points but they would trail at half by five points, 20 to 25. Dallas Center-Grimes would carry that momentum into the second half as they found themselves down by five again at the end of three. But the Waukee Warriors led by Omaha Biliew proved to be too much for the Mustangs and they would fall in this one 49 to 38.  DCG will end the season with a (14-10) record.
