Dallas Center-Grimes basketball teams will be in full force on Tuesday.

It’ll be a busy day tomorrow, that starts with the girls basketball team lacing their shoes up against Glenwood for the Class 4a state quarterfinal . The number one seed Mustangs will have their work cut out for them against the eight seed Rams. Dallas Center-Grimes will have to contain Glenwood’s Senior Point Guard Jenna Hopp, who averages 24 points per game and 12 rebounds and holds a commitment to South Dakota State. The Mustangs will look to exploit Glenwood’s shaky defense they give up nearly 51 points per game.  The game will tipoff at 11:45am at the Wells Fargo Arena and the game will be broadcasted on KDLS 99.7, 94.3 FM and 1310AM.

Just after the girls game ends there will be a little bit of a delay and then the DCG boys teams will hit the floor for a chance to head to the state tournament. They beat Abraham Lincoln in stunning fashion with an 11 point comeback in the semi-final round of the class 4a substate 8 bracket. Now they will face another tall task in beating the number four ranked team in the state which is (21-2) Waukee. Dallas Center-Grimes will have to find away to slow down five star recruit and Iowa State commit Omaha Biliew  who averages 21 points per game along with 10 rebounds.

The game will tipoff at 7pm at Waukee Northwest High School and the game will be broadcasted on KDLS 99.7, 94.3 FM and 1310AM. Tickets can be purchased here.
