Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers track and field teams will be back on the practice track this week, as they will put in another full week of practice before both the boys and the girls teams gear up for next week.

Both teams found great success last year, including the girls getting a top 3 performance in the state track and field meet. The Tigers lost many key athletes off of both of their teams but both clubs believe that should have the ability to reload for the upcoming year.

Participation is really good for both teams so far in terms of numbers, and with all of the winter sports seasons complete, athletes and coaches will have many days of preseason practices ahead to help execute technique in the future.

Both of these teams will have some big indoor meets coming up next week, with both teams to compete at Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls and at Iowa State in Ames.
