Friday, February 24th
12:12am: An officer located an open Door at 400 North Elm Street and contacted the business owner. All was fine inside.
8:12am: Kashia Tuel reported a Careless Driver in the 500 Block of North Chestnut Street.
9:43am: Jackie Schirmbeck requested a Welfare Check on a subject in the 1400 Block of Woodland Drive. The officer learned the subject was out of town.
10:33am: Audrey Hammond reported Unauthorized Use of her checking account. The officer is investigating.
11:09am: An officer responded to a Fire Alarm Activation at 100 Ram Drive. It was a False Alarm.
11:25am: An officer responded to an Alarm Activation at 401 South Wilson Ave. All was fine at the facility.
12:31pm: Cindy Rowland spoke with an officer about options dealing with a problem juvenile.
5:02pm: Melinda Gallagher advised of two dogs outside in the cold temperatures. The officer checked with the owner and the animals were fine. They have access to the garage and come and go as they please.
5:47pm: An officer assisted with a Medical Call in the 900 Block of West South Street and ER.
5:51pm: Lisa Kemble reported a Careless Semi Driver on 220th Street, heading east towards Jefferson.
8:05pm: George Glasgow was arrested during a Traffic Stop on Gallop Road. Glasgow had an outstanding Greene County Warrant for, “Fail to Appear.”
9:16pm: Margaret Cashen reported a loud noise in the 600 Block of South Olive Street. The officer did not locate the source of the sound.
10:45pm: A Traffic Stop at Elm and Clark Streets resulted in Jose Mondragon of Rippey being cited for, “Fail to Have a Valid Driver’s License.”
Saturday, February 25th
1:44am: An officer checked on a motorist experiencing Mechanical Problems on 220th, near the Casino Entrance. The owner was contacted and a subject removed the vehicle from the roadway.
10:11am: Cindy Rowland reported a Missing Juvenile from 911 North Pinet Street. The officer entered her into NCIC and began searching for her. On 02/26/2023, the juvenile was located in Des Moines and was placed with her biological mother in Des Moines by DHS and Des Moines PD.
2:54pm: Joyce Behrens requested a Welfare Check on a subject in the 600 Block of South Cedar Street. The officer made contact and learned the subject was fine.
Sunday, February 26th
1:18am: Demedrious Lyons reported a n occupied Suspicious Vehicle parked in the 400 Block of South Chestnut Street. The officer made contact with two females in the vehicle. Aubrie Lawrence, 22 of Jefferson was arrested for outstanding Greene County Arrest Warrants for, “Identity Theft, Unauthorized Use of Credit Card, Theft 3rd Degree, and Theft 5th Degree.” She provided the officer a container of wax before entering the Greene County Jail. The was tested with a NIKS Test and was positive for marijuana. The officer will be requesting an Arrest Warrant for, “Possession of Controlled Substance/marijuana.”
1:27pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 500 Block of East Vest Street.
