Aubreyanna Baldwin, Earlham, was driving on El Paso Ave at I80, when a semi crossed the road from the off ramp in front of her. She struck the semi driven by Ndayikengurukiy Leonard, Grimes. No injuries were reported and damage to Ms. Baldwin’s vehicle was estimated at $6000. Damage to the semi is estimated at $500.
Feb. 24
Makenna Woodvine, Yale, was driving on Hwy 141 at I Ct. when she hit a deer. No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $2000. The vehicle was driven from the scene.
Sejad Kadric, age 25, 7506 Canterbury Rd, Urbandale, was arrested on a warrant for Probation Violation.
Veronica Greenslit, age 50, 309 Dodge St, Bedford, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear. The original charge was Failure To Affix A Drug Stamp, Possession Of Controlled Substance and Keeping Premises Or Vehicle For Controlled Substance Violation.
Feb. 25
Henry Artero, age 22, 737 SE 26th Ct, Des Moines, was arrested for Operating While Under The Influence. Mr. Artero also had an accident resulting in $10000 damage to his car and $50000 damage to a gate on private property in the 34000 block of Maffit Lake Road.
Kyler Ross, age 37, 12131 %0th St, Burlington, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear. The original charge was Theft 3rd Degree.
Rigoberto Alfaro, Perry, was backing out of a driveway when he struck a parked car. No injuries were reported and damage to Mr. Alfaro’s vehicle was estimated at $2000. Damage to the parked car, owned by Micalela Heimerman, Perry, was estimated at $3000.
Feb. 26
Melinda Aeschliman, Dallas Center, was driving in the 700 block of 11st Str, Dallas Center when she swerved off the road and hit a utility pole and retaining wall. No injuries were reported and damage to her vehicle was estimated at $2000. Damage to the pole and retaining wall was estimated at $25. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Heather Stone, 36, 17588 Lake Overlook Ct., Monument, Co, was arrested for Burglary 2nd degree.
Feb. 27
Justin Tysseling, Bagley, was driving on Hwy 141 near Quinlan Ave, when he struck a deer. No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $2500. He drove the vehicle from the scene.
