The Perry Fire Department will be conducting a controlled burn today in Perry. 

The fire department will be doing a controlled burn on a structure at 1819 3rd Street in Perry at approximately noon. The burn will provide an opportunity for firefighters to train during a controlled event so they are prepared for emergency situations. The fire will not harm surrounding properties but citizens do not need to call 911 if they see smoke or fire.
