Final Paton-Churdan girls’ basketball statistics show the Rockets were led in scoring by freshman Becca Anderson. The point guard averaged 16.6 points per contest for the two win Rockets and she was especially effective at getting to the free throw line, going 106 for 169 at the stripe. Senior Emma Stream averaged 12 points per game and the rest of the team combined for close to eight points per contest.

Coach Tom Kennedy told Raccoon Valley Radio the girls worked hard throughout the season and improved as time went on. Both P-C victories were in the last one-third of the campaign.

Stream and Bailey Anderson are the only two seniors on the eight person squad, so given the number of potential girls returning, plus some current eighth graders who will be freshmen next season, the coach has reason to believe continued improvement can be achieved.
