Scranton Community Center

Family-friendly entertainment is happening Saturday in Scranton.

The Scranton Community Center Committee is hosting the “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” Dodgeball event. Organizer Dawn Rudolph is excited to have this fun activity back after taking a couple of years off. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio this is open to anyone and through the 6:30-7:30pm time frame, they will split participants into different teams and play different styles of dodgeball games. 

Players must be first grade and older, however kids under the age of ten are required to have an individual with them who is 12 or older. All players must sign a waiver and families that want to play can sign just one waiver. Those waivers can be picked up at the bus stop at the community center, contacting Rudolph, or at the door. Admission is $3 per person for both players and spectators. Rudolph adds all proceeds will go back to the community center committee for improvements to the facility.
