Mass of Christian Burial for Dorothy M. Schon, age 98, of Carroll, will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, February 27, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Glidden.  Burial will be in the Merle Hay Memorial Cemetery near Glidden.

Visitation will be held at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Glidden after 5 P.M. on Sunday where there will be a Christian Wake Service held at 6:30 P.M.  Additional visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 9:30 A.M. – 10:15 A.M. prior to the Mass.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made the Glidden Fire Department, Glidden First Responders, or Glidden United Charities.

     Survivors include:  her children and families: daughter Darlene Eich (Jim) of Carroll, son Don Schon (Paula) of Glidden, son Jim Schon (Chris) of Glidden, and son Kevin Schon (Renee) of Glidden; ten grandchildren: Chad Eich (April), Carla Knutsen (Mike), Nick Schon, Matt Schon (Elyse), Jen Schon, Steve Schon (Bridget), Brittany Becker (David), Hallie Golay (Andy), Traer Schon, and Talia Schon; fourteen great-grandchildren and one on the way.  Dorothy is also survived by a sister Annabelle Fox of Carroll; a brother Ron Klocke (Linda) of Minnesota; two sisters-in-law: Dorothy Schon of Glidden and Harriet Schon of Carroll; and several nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
