The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday.
The Board approved a liquor license for Shootout Saloon, LLC, and heard an update from the Guthrie County Airport Authority. They also heard a department head update from Information Technology Director Brian Hoffman. The Board then approved Hoffman’s request for permission to purchase 40 block hours from Panora Fiber. The block hours are used to pay for help from Panora Fiber’s technicians, and are purchased quarterly.
After individual updates from the supervisors, there was a budget work session for health services and the Sheriff’s Office, where Public Health Director Jotham Arber and Sheriff Marty Arganbright worked with the Board to streamline their budgets, and cut down on expenses where possible.
